Techy (Devil's Souls MC Book 2 by LeAnn Ashers was a fantastic follow up book to Torch!Techy (Jordan Walker) was everything his club nickname implies. He was a computer guru that could hack into anything and anybody, and wasn't ashamed to use his talents to help his club stop the human trafficking ring that sprung up in their area and nearly got Torch's woman, and a couple other women in the MC too.
Techy has been trawling online dating sites that were known places the traffickers looked for their next victims. It is on one of these sites he meets a beautiful, shy girl named Alisha. Alisha lives in a hovel with addict parents. Her father beats her constantly, and pimps her mother out for the price of his next fix. Her mother was once a beautiful, loving woman, and now is a shadow of that person Alisha calls Mom. Alisha has been hiding a phone her best friend gave her, and she has been Face Timing with Techy for the past couple of months. During one of their calls her father is banging on her door, and she abruptly hangs up on Techy. While her father is yelling at her, Techy calls back and is witness to seeing Alisha's face bloody, and her father brutally beating her into unconsciousness. Techy flips out, gets his brothers and drives out to find Alisha. When he arrives at the ramshackle trailer that Alisha lives in he is struck by how horrible her life must be, and his sorrow at not knowing sooner and getting her out of there. The MC boys find her beaten badly, Techy does not take kindly to this, and he knocks the father out in one punch, and then ends up shooting him so this can never happen again.
Techy takes Alisha to his house, and he has Myra, the club doctor look her over. Myra is quite shocked at Alisha's appearance, and gets her sorted out, and tells Techy that Alisha will be ok with some care and time. Techy figures he has all the time and care his angel will need, and there begins their lives together.
Techy is a good man, and helps Alisha's mother get into a Rehab center, and promises her if she completes it and turns her life around he will help her with Alisha. He knows Alisha misses the mother she once had, and Techy is determined to help them both. Techy's family absolutely love Alisha when they meet her, and Techy himself is constantly amazed at what a wonderful woman Alisha is too.
When Alisha gets pregnant Techy is over the moon as he knows he loves her, wants to marry her, and when he finds out she's having twins he gets all alpha and protective of her and the babies.
Some things happen at the MC, and Alisha is always afraid for Techy and the guys, but knows she has no choice but to hope and wait for her man to come back home to her. When Alisha is kidnapped from the clubhouse, Techy and the MC go mad, and worse when they find out it is one of Lane's men, another club in the charter. The man owed a debt to some bad people that could not be paid with money, but rather a beautiful, young woman. The MC is having NONE of that, and dispatch this traitor to hell in no time flat.
Techy and Alisha have twins - Noah and Vanessa, and fast forward from their birth to when they are 13. Noah is exactly like his father, and only wants to be part of the MC when he is old enough. Vanessa is beautiful, but is not much bothered by that, but is concentrating on her school work. Alisha feels so bad for her daughter as she knows that Techy will be on her case constantly about boys, and Alisha feels even worse for the boy that Vanessa chooses for her own. Techy will crucify the guy for even looking at his daughter!
This was a wonderful, rich, action-filled MC love story, and a great second book in this series by Ms. Ashers. I can't wait to read Butch's story!

I forced myself to finish this book just so I could write a review. I refuse to write a review for a book I haven't finished or a product I haven't used....that being said, this was awful! Honestly, one of the worst books I have read. The "heroine" is battered and abused by her father, rescued by the "hero" after only every knowing her through FaceTime conversations, and she is immediately in love, willing to move in with him, have his babies etc. I don't mind an "insta-love" kind of story but this was beyond too much. Not to mention there is talk of the long term emotional abuse this type of upbringing would have caused her. She goes from a weak, timid abused girl in the first two chapters to getting in a cat fight and pulling someones hair out a few chapters later.
And I haven't even gotten into the whole MC thing. This is some sort of unusual MC that has all of their members go through SEAL training? What?! Plus they plant bombs on the "cuts" of the rival MC and electronically blow them up while watching this all on a monitor from their home base? Are you kidding me?
Anyway, total waste of money. I wish I could get my time and money back.
This is Techy and Alisha's (Angel) book. Loved the first book but this one right here is my favourite out of the 2 books. Techy and Alisha have been face timing one another for a short while and in one of those FaceTime he witness her father assaulting her and rides to her rescue. When he gets there she is badly beaten and ends up ending the father's life and takes her away to help her recuperate. All her life Alisha has suffered at the hands of her father who is a drug addict and will sell anything for drugs. Her mother was once a mom who helped and took care of her when she was younger until her father forced drugged her mom who not only was she continuously raped by men that her father sold just to get money for drugs to fuel his habit but also kept her high while this was happening to her. He was a real piece of work and am so glad Techy ended him. What I love about this is that it gets straight into the story, there is lol moments, action, and romance, not only for our h/h but other members of the club as well. Ms Asher has done an incredible job in writing Techy's book, really.love that closeness that the MC have and my 2 favourite scene is when Alisha goes all badass, totally loved it. Can't wait for Butch's book next.
Let me start off by saying that if you loved Torch, you will adore Techy!! To me there's nothing sexier than a protective alpha male with a sweet side!! No one would ever harm his girl (ever again!) or his club. Talk about swoon-worthy!! What Alisha had experienced made my hear ACHE for her. I mean, holy crap. Good thing Techy was in her life now...there wasn't a thing he wouldn't do for her.
The chemistry between Alisha and Techy sizzled right off the pages of this book! And while their love was instant, it ran deep and was undeniable. Throw in some suspense and H.O.T. scenes to an already amazing plot, and this book quickly became addictive to me!!
LeAnn better be typing away some words because I need more of these guys!!! FIVE STARS!
This book is so stupid.I'm struggling to get thru it. Insta love is great in my book.....this other stuff is ridiculous. Bombs in vests nobody can see..ok no. The writing is childish. It's painful to read.
Edited to say I finally gave up at 78%, I can not believe an adult wrote this. It was so hard to read. The writing is just bad. I can not even describe how unrealistic and awful it really was.
